Coach Holiday Conference 2009

We are beginning to plan next year's Coach Holiday Conference and would appreciate some early input from our BCH Members. We are proposing that the conference takes place on 2 to 4 April.

The annual conference aims to bring together coach operators with the supplier members of the Coach Tourism Council. It provides forums for discussions, up to date information on areas affecting our industry, opportunities for business discussions, networking between two key partner organisations and the chance to experience and go on familiarisation visits/trips to new areas/venues.

Please complete this very short survey and return to BCH by simply clicking the 'done' button at the foot of the page.

(PLEASE NOTE: CPT is currently trialling this survey programme software, so please ignore all advertising images at the end).

Break away coach holidays
23.12.2008
Break Away Coach Holidays, of 27A Montagu Street, Kettering ceased trading on December 18, 2008. As a result, all holiday packages scheduled to depart after that date have been cancelled. As a member of the Bonded Coach Holiday Group, all monies, except insurance premiums, paid to Break Away Coach Holidays in respect of a holiday will be reimbursed. Items such as holiday vouchers are not covered by the scheme. Our records show that 234 bookings are affected and letters were sent out, by first class post on December 22. These letters advise each customer to complete a claim form and reimbursement will take place once these have been returned to us and processed. We anticipate dealing with any claim received within seven to ten days. Anyone who has not received a letter by Monday January 5 should contact Bill Wright at CPT on 020 7240 3131 or by email: billw@cpt-uk.org The claim form asks that customers provide evidence of any monies paid to Break Away Holidays and affected customers might like to start putting together this necessary documentation in advance of receipt of the letter. The terms of the Scheme dictate that acceptable forms of evidence are a Tour Operator’s booking confirmation/invoice; Credit/debit card statements; original cleared cheque(s); and original cash receipts. Cash payments over £500 should be accompanied by sworn affidavit.
